Adopted Students’ Review Programme

Adopted Students Review Programme held at Billawa Bhavan on 8th February, 2020 was presided over by Shri Chandrashekar S Poojary (President of Billawar Association, Mumbai).

Other dignitaries present on dais  were Mrs.Jayathi Uchil (Chairperson of Mahila Vibhag), Ms.Jayashri Kodi (Corporate Trainer), Mr.Vishwanath Tonse (Chairman of Education-Sub Committee) and Mr. Harish G Salian (Secretary of Education Sub-Committee).

Mr.Vishwanath Tonse  presented key-note address and spoke about the efforts being made by the Billawar Association to assist the children of the community  by organising various programmes like  Financial help, Adoption and Merit Award  for meritorious  students. More than 130 students and parents participated in the programme.

The President in his address exhorted the children to excel in their studies to justify the financial assistance provided to them out of precious donations collected by the Association from  philanthropists and general public.

Mrs. Jayashree Kodi conducted the programme on confidence building, public speaking and career guidance. She interacted with the participants and made them to share their area of strength and weakness. She also made audio visual presentation which made the session quite interesting. Mr.Harish G. Salian (Secretary of Education Sub-Committee) compared the programme and presented vote of thanks.
